Principal Recruitment Consultant

    The next 5 years are set to be explosive in engineering recruitment, specifically in the Mining & Minerals, and Oil & Gas sectors. 2012 is an exciting year for Talascend Australia with a new team, new offices and significant growth anticipated throughout this year. We are looking for a number of experienced recruitment consultants to join a dynamic forward thinking team, and help us become the leading technical staffing company in Australia. 

    Key accountabilities for this position include:

    • Identifying and developing new business opportunities in Australasia.
    • Meet and exceed Client expectations for all aspects of our service.
    • Source, recruit and submit only the best candidates for client vacancies.
    • Utilise strong networking skills to develop and maintain key client relationships.
    • Comply with all statutory, Client and Company process requirements.
    • Meet / exceed all financial objectives and comply with the required operating metrics.
    • Support, coach and mentor the development of less experienced staff members under the guidance of the Managing Director.

    The average experience of a Talascend consultant is 5 years.  

    • 4+ years recruitment experience
    • Mining & Minerals or Oil & Gas or Rail and/or any Senior Technical experience.
    • Degree qualified preferred but not a necessity.
    • Networking, recruitment and business development skills.
    • Self-motivated professional with a proven track record in the recruitment industry.
    • Flexibility and ability to work effectively in a small team.
